Haiti Collection - SJV School is collecting chewable children’s vitamins, (not gummy vitamins), packaged tooth brushes, and over the counter eye glasses. Please drop off items at the school or parish office through the month of February.

K of C Pancake Breakfast Sunday, February 14, between the Masses. Treat the family to a delicious breakfast. COST: Adults $5.00, Children 12 & under $4.00, Family $15.00.

* A plenary indulgence, under the usual conditions, may be gained for making the Way of the Cross or, if unable to get to a church, for the pious meditation and reading on the Passion and Death of Our Lord for a half an hour. The "usual conditions" are: Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist, Prayers for the Holy Father's intentions, freedom from attachment to venial sin.

Rite of Election at St. Henry's in Nashville, February 21, 3:00 p.m.

We are working to establish a chapter of the St. Vincent DePaul Society at SJV to assist the many poor in our community. Retired, but still active volunteers are especially needed in this ministry. Please contact Joe Fertitta at 822-6735.

2010 Parish Calendars are available. All proceeds support the formation of our parish's Council of Catholic Women. Contact Gail Payne at 715-6514 for yours.

St. Martha's Guild needs knitters to make prayer shawls used in our ministry. If you are willing to help out in this way or by donating yarn, please call Mary Garretson at 838-8016. Note: If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you.

Legion of Mary is sponsoring a visit of the traveling statue of Our Lady of Fatima. In the narthex families can sign up to take the statue home with them for up to one week. For more information about this, or the Legion of Mary in general, contact Joyce Brokaw at 452-9279.

St. Martha’s Food Pantry is in need of the following: breakfast bars, pop tarts, instant oatmeal, jelly, tuna, salmon, chicken, veggies, fruit, fruit juice, Velveeta, pasta, soups, crackers, hamburger/tuna/chicken helpers, condiments and oil. No peanut butter is needed at this time.

The Prayer Team asks that you remember the following: Deacon Mike Kopycznski, Al Schmittou, Kevin Hennessy, and Gary Dorris. If you or someone you know is in need of prayers, cards, or dedication of a Rosary, contact Joe and Linda Fertitta at 822-6735.
